Leoma Donsbach is the founder and driving force behind Data Genie LLC, a company dedicated to helping beef producers and breed associations harness the power of genetics, data, and technology to make more informed decisions. Through her work, she has become a trusted partner to both seedstock and commercial operations, guiding them in maximizing the value of genomic tools for selection, marketing, and long-term profitability.
Raised in North Fork, California, the exact center of the state, Leoma grew up in her family’s feed store, Box Feed, where she learned early the value of customer service and the connection between people, livestock, and community. While pursuing her education at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, she lived and worked at the beef unit and discovered a passion that would shape her career: beef cattle genetics and applied technology. Leoma launched her professional journey at the American Simmental Association, where she gained firsthand insight into the critical role of accurate data and effective reporting in breed improvement. That experience inspired her to establish Data Genie LLC in 2015, creating a business uniquely positioned to bridge the gap between producers, associations, and the complex world of genetic evaluations.
Her expertise and reputation led her to NEOGEN, where as a Strategic Account Manager she worked with multiple breeds and associations, helping design research initiatives and implement DNA and genomic testing programs that improved genetic evaluations across the beef industry. Today, through collaborations with forward-thinking partners such as Allied Genetic Resources, she continues to champion adoption of genomic tools, precision mating, and data-driven management to accelerate genetic progress and profitability.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Leoma is deeply rooted in ranch life. She and her husband, Kirk, make their home in Roy, Montana, where they raise cattle, ride horses, and enjoy the outdoors with their dogs, Tulsa & Delta Dawn. Whether on the ranch, on the road, or behind a computer screen, Leoma is committed to one mission: ensuring that cattle producers have the tools, confidence, and insights to put the data to work for them and provide easy to implement solutions.

Heidi has spent her whole life in agriculture. She was born and raised on a ranch in Montana. She obtained her Agriculture Communications degree from Montana State University. While attending MSU in Bozeman, she interned at the American Simmental Association in the processing department. This turned into a full time position until she got married and moved away. In the meantime she worked for a veterinarian and a cattle business in Colorado.
She is married to her high school sweetheart, Gary and they have 3 children: Garrett (14), Anna (11), Emme (7) and reside in Big Timber, MT. For 13 years Heidi worked as an off-site employee for ASA, primarily behind the scenes in foreign breed registrations. Heidi and her husband run a commercial herd of Red Angus/Simmental cattle. They retain their calves and sell all their beef directly to the consumer as Todd Family Meats. Heidi enjoys spending time with her family and friends, camping, cake breaking the replacement heifers, and sharing her love of animals and agriculture with her family.
